An abundance of copper is used in the heaviest current carrying power paths of all Square D by Schneider Electric Heavy Duty Safety Switches. The more copper for current carrying paths, the lower the temperature rise. Managing temperatures inside the switch is the key to providing greater service life. This heavy duty Single Throw Safety Switch has a rated current of 30A and has a NEMA 3R\/12 degree of protection. This non-fusible disconnect has a short circuit rating of 200kA@600VAC. This safety switch has a galvannealed steel enclosure and is surface mounted. This product is compatible with H or K, R, J or L fuses. The acceptable AWG gauge for this product is AWG 12 \/ AWG 6, aluminum and has a tightening torque of 45-45 lbf.in. This product complies to UL listed file E2875 standards and comes with an 18 month warranty.
